WHAT IS PILATES?

Developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s, Pilates is a unique exercise method that enhances posture, spinal flexibility, and internal strength.

WHAT KIND OF PILATES DO YOU TEACH?

We teach the classical Pilates method as originally designed by Joseph Pilates, focusing on whole-body awareness, precision, control, and connection.

HOW DO I BEGIN IF I’VE NEVER DONE PILATES BEFORE?

We welcome beginners with open arms! You can start with the basics and progress at a pace that suits you. Depending on your comfort level, you can either join our Pilates Foundations classes or begin with a private session.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Wear comfortable workout clothes that allow for easy movement, like leggings or shorts and a fitted top. Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN EACH CLASS?

To ensure personalized attention, we limit classes to 8 participants. Please view or class descriptions and choose a class that matches your skill level.

HOW CAN I BE ASSURED I AM WORKING WITH A QUALIFIED INSTRUCTOR?

All our instructors have graduated from the comprehensive Whole Body Method Teacher Training, which includes 500 hours of education in the art and science of Classical Pilates.

CAN I DO PILATES IF I AM PREGNANT?

Yes, you can practice Pilates during pregnancy. However, we ask that pregnant clients work one-on-one with a qualified instructor rather than joining group classes. A doctor’s note confirming that Pilates is suitable for you is required before starting sessions.

CAN I DO PILATES IF I’VE HAD AN INJURY?

It depends on the injury type and stage of healing. We will coordinate with your doctor or physical therapist to determine the best approach, usually starting with one-on-one sessions. Please contact us to discuss your situation.

CAN I SPLIT A PACKAGE WITH A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER?

No, all packages must be used individually. Our system cannot track split packages, so each package remains separate.

IF I BUY A CLASS PACKAGE WITH A 30 DAY EXPIRATION BUT CANNOT USE IT IN 30 DAYS CAN IT BE EXTENDED?

No. If you find you cannot use your class package within the 30 day time period due to vacation, illness etc. you may not extend it, however; you may pay the difference to make it a non-expiring package and use the remaining sessions.

I CAN’T FINISH MY PACKAGE. MAY I GET A REFUND OR GIVE MY SESSIONS TO SOMEONE ELSE?

We have a no-refund policy. However, if you cannot continue with your package, you may transfer your sessions to a friend or family member. Please call the studio to arrange this.
